 Week 10: Final Deployment

Final week involves deploying the website to a hosting environment like webhost or infinityfree. This moves the project from a local  development phase to a live, competitive digital platform. Comprehensive documentation is completed to assist the client in managing the new automated system effectively.

Week 8-9 : Reports and Testing

In week 8, the system is enhanced with advanced features. For the admin, a Report generation tool is developed to provide insights into sales and booking performance. to help wanderlust Travels reach a wider global audience and attract foreign tourists, SEO strategies and social media integrations are applied to the platform.

Week 9 is reserved for rigorous testing. This ensures that the platform is secure, functional, and provides a seamless experience for customers, ultimately preventing the loss of revenue caused by previous communication delays.

Week 6-7: Core Development and Functionality

Week 6 and 7 focus on the user Module, covering registration, login, and the booking engine. A critical component here is the integration of a secure payment gateway, such as pay Here, to facilitate easy online transactions. Once a booking is completed, the system will trigger automated email confirmations, reducing the need for manual staff intervention.

Week 4and 5 are dedicated to the admin module and package management. This allows administrators to create, update, and delete travel packages in real-time, solving the issue of outdated pricing and availability. Users will also gain the ability to search for packages based on destination and budget.

Week 3-7: Core Development and Functionality

Development begins in week 3 by setting up  the environment using Notepad++ and Visual studio code. The Front-end structure is built using HTML,CSS and Bootstrap to ensure the site is professional and user-friendly.

Week 2: Planning and System Design

In Week 2: The focus shifts to architectural and visual design. This involves using tools like Figma or canvas to design the user interface(UI) and defining the MySQL database schema. The goal is to create a unified database that stores tour packages, customer details, and bookings, addressing the current lack of a centralized data system.
